IAU in Chicago

IAU took part in the Student National Medical Association conference exhibition from 9 am - 5 pm, one of the biggest pre-medical conferences in the U.S. The exibition included almost every major US medical school and other top schools from the carribbean. Jawad Salim (6th semester) and Clifford Prasad (7th semester) were there as current clinical students to talk to prospective students about their experiences at IAU.

The IAU open house from 5.30 to 7.00 pm was held at the university center. It was attended by Dr Dodda, Dr Minarcik, J Salim, C Prasad, Jamie Stewart from IAU side. Dr. Dodda was impressive during the open house. She talked highly about IAU students in comparison to other schools. Jawad and Jamie who both scored 99 percentile on the USMLE added punch to the event.

The faculty and student appreciation dinner was relaxing after a long day at the Bucca Di Beppo Italian Restaurant. From our faculty side, Dr Dodda w/family, Dr Cherian, Dr Gayle Kates, Dr Roper, Dr Miller, Dr Minarcik and students Jawad, Clifford, Jamie, Agnus, Chandi were present.
