Symposium on Pharmacology

A pharmacology symposium was held last July 28, 2009 at the IAU library with no less than our very own professors giving excellent talks on various aspects of pharmacology. Dr. Henry Zeidan opened the symposium with a talk on Spin Labeling Applications in Medicine. Dr. David Keyes followed with a presentation on Alcoholism and Treatment. Drug Development was effortlessly discussed by Dr. Sampath Venkataswamy. The symposium was capped by Dr. Steiman’s presentation on Contraindication of Particular Drugs in Pregnancy. The talks were followed by questions and comments from the enthusiastic audience composed of students and guests from various health institutions in St. Lucia.
