Gift of Blood, Gift of Life at IAU

True to its commitment to the community of St. Lucia and in observation of the World Blood Donor Day, a blood donation camp was set up in front of the university on Tuesday June 15th 2010. Led by our dean, Dr. Jay Mohite, almost everybody from IAU (students, faculty and staff) participated in this activity that will definitely save a lot of lives. Donors were all happy and smiled while waiting for their turn to give blood as refreshments were provided during the event which was extensively covered by the media. It was a great day of sharing our time, effort and of course our blood to a worthwhile cause.
