New Stduent Orientation

The IAU faculty and staff welcomed the new students during the Orientation Day held on September 5, 2009. Dr. James Villanueva welcomed the students and parents with a presentation about IAU. St Lucia Police department and fireforce department discussed the various safety measures to be afopted in case of emergencies. Students were also intriduced to the St Lucia culture by a representative from the community. Dr. Pillappa (Pathology), Dr. Matthew (Histology), Dr. Keyes (Behavioral Science/Doctoring), Dr. Venkataswamy (Physiology) and Dr. Villanueva (Biochemistry) introduced themselves and their fields to the students. Everyone was then treated to a sumptuous lunch followed by registration and student advising in the afternoon.
