SGA organizes a variety of events for IAU students throughout the year
Plane crash/rescue simulation
October 6th, 2010 at UVF international Airport Vieux Fort, St.Lucia
In this Crash and rescue simulation exercise a group of IAU students participated and worked side by side with local authorities in order to maximize efficiency in the time of crisis. The Simulation was an absolute success and all essential adjustments were made. A great experince for our students.

Navaratri Explosion (Indian cultural dance)
October 15th, 2010 from 7:30-11pm in the first semester auditorium. 10 EC per student and 20 EC for faculty
This is a Indian Cultural dancing with dandia sticks planned and executed by a group of IAU students. Beverages and snacks will be provided, so come out and have some fun!!
"Breakaway" Boat Excursion
October 16th, 2010 from 9:30am-7 pm fee is 50 EC per person. Fee inclusdes food (subway sandwiches), beer, bevarages snacks, music, games, swimming.
This new tradition was first introduced last semester and was an amazing experience, so we are doing it again! The buses will leave school at 9:30 am for castries and the cruise will start at 11 am. The boat will start in castries and will go down to the souffriere passing by the amazing MOUNT piton (the tallest mountain on the island). we will then stop at the beach to take a dip in the beautiful water of the caribbean sea.
Halloween Masquerade Party
October 29th at the Kima Trai Hotel. Fee TBA.
Finger food, bevarages, and music and fun. Dress up, wear your masks and come on out for a nice evening with friends
HOOP IT UP! (3 on 3 Basketball)
November 14th at Banefiled Basketball Court, Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia.
A maximum of 24 teams of 3 can participate in this basketball tournament. Food, beverages, music and prizes. It is a double elimination tournament with locals, a few teams from IAU students and Spartan medical students participating. Our local sponsors will be announced soon. at the event IAU students will have a community clinic check up. so come watch some basket ball and get ur health checked for free by IAU future physicians.
Multicultural dinner
November 27th at the Kima Trai Hotel at 7:30pm. Fee TBA.
Dancing, talent show, dinner, singing and music!! Programs will be anounced at a later date
