"Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow." - Albert Einstein
As the voice of the student body in the university, the words of Einstein indeed hold true for the SGA. The SGA has been very active in defining and overcoming obstacles facing our university in hopes of building a positive campus environment. It is a reality that the life of a student in a Caribbean medical school may be challenging and may even get turbulent at times. The role of the SGA is to temper the turbulence and transform the challenges into avenues for personal growth and greater appreciation of medicine as a science and as an art. Hand in hand, this student organization, the administration and the faculty can facilitate changes that will benefit all students. Let’s try our best to develop healthy relationships and promote productive activities. Together, let’s strive to work for an excellent medical school.

The International American University Student Government Assiciation (SGA), established in 2004, exists to represent and act in the interests of the students. Student Government association has created an academic and extra-curricular environment benefitting students through its programs and works to sustain and improve them each year.
Student Government Association was established for the sole purpose of providing a cohesive and unified voice for the student body with which to communicate our needs as students to the university's administration and the government. Take advantage of your chance to shape the future of your educational experience and find out if the SGA is for you!
